Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Ellis Taylor, an American stage and screen actor and producer. She is most famous as an actress in films for her role on the films Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) as well as The Mentalist. She holds a BA in African-American Studies from Brown University and an MFA in Acting from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue l. Ellis, an American producer and actress who has worked in theater and TV and films as also, has been actively involved in both the film and theater screen. Her acting career started in the theatre. Then she appeared on numerous television shows in independent films, mainstream and movies. She became famous as Miranda Shaw in ABC's Quantico, and also appeared on BET's epic drama The Book of Negroes. In both roles, she won critical acclaim as well as various nominations and awards, including the Television Critics Choice Award for Best Actress. In 1995, she made her debut in the role of Ariel on stage as Ariel in The Tempest. Alongside Broadway's Come and Gone, she is also credited in Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. In her film career her most well-known roles are performances such as Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. On television, her part in ABC's police drama High Incident is well known.
