Patricia Apollonia Kotero was an American singer and model from the United States. She is also a co-star in Prince's 1984 movie Purple Rain. Kotero was the female lead vocalist in Apollonia 6 and co-starred in Prince's film Purple Rain from 1984. Apollonia is a singer/actress who was born to Prince in 1984 was one of many female musicians of the 80s that benefited from Prince. Patricia Kotero is a Californian actress, born in the city of Santa Monica, California in 1959. Her first career was being a model on television. In 1984, she was the role of the lead female of Prince's Purple Rain (during which time she changed her name) and replaced Vanity in the female trio Vanity 6 performing with them on the screen under the name Apollonia 6. Her performance had more impression on the charts when she was Prince's partner on Take Me with You, the duet on the soundtrack. Kotero as well as Prince have a disagreement about her future professional career. Apollonia6 broke up and Kotero was not able to remain in her relationship with Prince.
