Sharon Yvonne Stone is the sole daughter born to Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, who was a manufacturer of tool and dies, as well as a former employee in a manufacturing plant. Sharon was born on the 10th of March, 1958, in Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her siblings. Stone started second grade in kindergarten at the age of five. Saegertown School situated in Saegertown Pennsylvania was the high school she attended. Her graduation was in 1975. She also competed winning at the Miss Pennsylvania beauty contest. Stone relocated to New Jersey with her aunt in 1977 to pursue a modeling career and signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency within a month. In Europe, she lived for a year living in Milano as well as Paris. Stone was disillusioned with the world of model in Europe began acting in Europe. She was 20 when she appeared in the film of Woody Allen "Stardust Memories" with mixed receptions.
