Gemma arterton
Gemma Christina Arterton is an English actress who has been known for her performances in movies that include 'Quantum Of Solace', "The Disappearance of Alice Creed' as well as 'Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters'. Her birthplace was in Gravesend, Kent, in Greater London. Following her studies in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and a few years of professional work, she made her debut through a part as an actress supporting in the comedy 'St Trinian's'. For the James Bond film Quantum of Solace and Quantum of Solace, released shortly afterwards, she played in a role of support. The film was commercially successful, but was generally praised. The starring role in the action-fantasy film, 'Prince of Persia The Sands of Time" was her next. Her role was as a supporter in the French film 'Orphan.' Arterton received nominations for a variety of Awards throughout her professional life. The award she won was an award called the "Empire Award for the Best Newcomer" for the film "Quantum Of Solace," as well as an "Evening Standard Theatre Award" for her role in the musical, 'Made by Dagenham". The actress also took home the Glamour Awards for Woman of the Years in 2011.
